This post presents and illustrates the Explanation of Phobias: i) Behavioral Explanation of Phobias (classical conditioning, Watson, 1920); ii) Psychological Explanation of Phobias (Freud, 1909); iii) Biomedical/Genetic Explanation of Phobias (Ost, 1992); iv) Cognitive Explanation of Phobias (DiNardo et.al., 1988); as per the requirements of the IB IGCSE A 9990 syllabus including summaries of the studies mentioned in the section, and an evaluation of the explanations from the point of view of the issues and debates as outlined in the syllabus. if we are contrasting schizophrenics patients (mild) and normal people (normal) in one study on the experience of their stressful events in their individual lifes....than is this a natural experimental design or quasi experimental design....can you tell? thank you in advance
