  1. Hi mam! Ritu from morning class here. I addrress the three lines of thinking:

    I feel that low word count skips introduction and conclusion which we need to be relevant to the question
    I feel that study should not be written directly because first we need to explain concepts and why study was undertaken
    I feel that aim - procedure - design - data analysis - results - conclusion format should be used in answer
    Please give my feedback

    1. Hi Ritu! Thanks for commenting here for everyone to read and learn from your comment.

      As for feedback-
      Think beyond introduction and conclusion to consider how the low word count has limited the body of the answer;

      Your second point is absolutely correct - the objective of the study must be stated explicitly;

      For the third point - yes, all aspects of the study must be clearly presented in the answer as applicable

    2. Thanks mam. I feel that for the first point the body of the answer is the study. So the same third point is here also that all aspects of study are not covered in low word count

    Good morning mam. Tasneem Master here. I wish to connect all my points to the study as we always do

    1. A low word count in this answer has causes the definitions of the concepts & the main parts of the study :- the purpose, data analyses, some results & conclusion out of the answer.

    2. Directly writing into the study is wrong because why the researchers studied the bicultural strategy is ot clear and why some other concept of acculturalism is not researched is not clear.

    3. What is missing is components of the study is the aim of study.. how participants were decided to be biculturals. what was exactly being researched by the essays and reports of products.. & how biculturals did better on the procedure is needs more detail

    Please let me know if my points are right

    1. Hi Twisha! Thanks for commenting here for everyone to read and learn from your comment.

      I agree with your first point;

      For the second point, I think you mean the relation of the study with the concept in question rather than the command term;

      For the last point - which part of the background do you think should be included in the answer? Also, do you think limitations should be a part of an 'explain' answer?

    2. Tadmor is bicultural and this is acculturalsim. I mean I'm not sure like...I'm rony

    3. Hello Rony. Indeed the study is about biculturalism which is an acculturative strategy. It appears to me that you are an IB student and so, you would definitely know that for any question, you have a multitude of sub-topics to choose from and address in the answer.
